(Las Vegas Police Department, n.d.)

Evidence at the scene.

Evidence consisted of Bailey’s pants, which were partially removed, a piece of clear plastic around his waist, a clump of chewing gum, a condom wrapper, as well as several cigarette butts. Along with the physical evidence there was a set of bloody shoe prints and fresh tire tracks. An autopsy seemed to point to some sort of sexual assault since semen was found on his body; therefore, there was a DNA profile available. Time of death could not be established at this point. (Smith, 2015)

There was a security camera in the area (the crime occurred near/around a bank) off an ATM. Around the crime scene there was potential for many eye witnesses since there were multiple apartment complexes. (Smith, 2015)
